Cumming School of Medicine Health Humanities Community of Practice in Collaboration with Well Doc Alberta Present:

Man Running

A physician runs in an exhausting 24-hour, 100-mile ultra-marathon through mountainous landscape as he avoids and reflects on a high stakes medical decision. Watch the trailer.

The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion around health humanities to support a deeper understanding of being human, mental illness, addiction, and the stresses of the medical profession.

Panelists are Janet de Groot MD, Tom Rosenal MD, Valerie Taylor MD,
Jane Lemaire MD, and Terrie Brandon MD.

This event is for physicians, residents, and medical students.
