Technology As The Ultimate Equalizer

When we look at technology in the hands of students, we often do so with worry or fear. And although this is not completely unfounded, technology can also provide our students who are differently abled the ability to shine in a way they could not without the affordances of technology. This talk includes a few simulations for what students experience if they have perceptual reasoning, verbal comprehension, and executive functioning limitations as well as a showcase a variety of tech tools which will help students access the curriculum in new and improved ways.
