Event description

Description

Presentation and Open Discussion by Dr. Glen Kitteringham, CPP

In today's workplace, incidents of harrassment and violence are on the increase, placing increased pressure on employers and security managers to mitigate, investigate, and litigate events.

Please join us for a engaging discussion surrounding the current state of affairs; exploration of the causals, and a discussion pertaining to mitigation strategies. Dr. Kitteringham has recently completed a deep-dive into the day to day world of the ground-level security practitioners in the Province. His findings are not only relevent for practitioners, but also for employers and Corporate Security groups looking to minimize medical and legal costs associated with violence in the workplace.

Dr. Kitteringham has been a practicing memeber of ASIS for a quarter century; and has been actively engaged in the Calgary security industry from the ground up longer than that. His in-depth knowledge of the industry, security best practices, and human nature combines to continually push the boundaries of security provision in the Province. He is an amazing source of information and knowledge...this is a meeting to attend.
