MAP is pleased to present its 20th Annual Conference. This year the agenda will again include a variety of interesting, informative, and relevant sessions for advisors and other post-secondary personnel in a variety of settings. 

This is a 2-day event:

Day 1 - November 3, 2016

11:45 - 12:45 p.m. Registration

12:45 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Welcome and Introductions

1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Keynote and Breakout Sessions

Existing 2016 Members - $175  (Includes Conference Fee + 2017 Membership)

New Members - $200 (Includes Conference Fee + 2016 & 2017 Membership)

New Member / Membership Only - $25 (For those not attending the conference and would like to purchase a membership for the upcoming 2017 year.)

Please note that although speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations, or cancellations of speakers and/or topics. MAP reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.



What is the refund policy?

Up to Oct. 28, 2016 — 50% refund

After Oct. 28, 2016 — no refund

Refunds will not be issued for no-show registrants. Membership fees are non-refundable.

In the event of cancellation of the Conference due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control, MAP will make every effort to reschedule the event to an alternate date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, MAP will at its discretion, refund the conference fee amount paid minus any venue cancellation charges. No refund will be made where participants are able to claim on an insurance policy.

MAP will not be liable for any ancillary or related costs, including, but not limited to hotel and airline charges, or cancellation fees due to weather or other conditions or circumstances.


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is free in the hotel and stadium parking lots. Winnipeg Transit offers bus service.

Canad Inns Fort Garry parking is in the lot at the front of the hotel on Thursday. Investors Group Field parking is available on the east side of the stadium in front fo the Pinnacle Club entrance (entrance to the conference off University Crescent) as well as on the west side of the stadium (close to the Bomber Store off Chancellor Matheson) on Friday.

We have reserved rooms for out of town attendees at Canad Inns Fort Garry with a special rate for the conference. ($102.00 Standard or $112.00 King Suite per night) The confirmation number for conference guests to book their room under Manitoba Advising Professionals is 249427.
