ManTalks is a growing community of men having bold conversations and redefining what it means to be a man in this day and age.

By connecting men with high performing mentors and authentic content, we intend to create the space for the modern man to evolve and thrive. We do this by engaging in powerful, authentic and transparent dialogue designed to help them build a more authentic relationship with themselves and with other like-minded men and women. Women are more than welcome and encouraged to join us during this event.

ManTalks Gratitude & Growth SPEAKERS:

Jaxon Howell

Jaxon Howell is a multi-passionate creative entrepreneur. He’s a professional lifestyle photographer and the founder and owner of Nakedwood, a local furniture design and woodworking company that specializes in creating gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces and works for both residential and commercial clients, locally and around the world. When he’s not in the shop, you’ll find Jaxon around town with his camera in tow, snapping photos for local events, lifestyle brands and online personalities.

To say Jaxon has a creative streak is an understatement. From the wood workshop to international backdrops, his love for artistic expression is evident in everything he does… but having a business fueled by his creative passion didn’t happen overnight. In fact, his journey to gratitude and fulfillment is one flavored with more challenges then most. Yet, despite the rough terrain Jaxon was forced to navigate most of his life, sometimes unsuccessfully, his perseverance and love made him the man he is today.

Julian DeSchutter

Julian DeSchutter is a co-founder of Chasing Sunrise. His passion intersects between building things people care about and telling the stories around them. He is curious about the mind, behavioral psychology, and why so many people go to the grave having never chased what they are passionate about.

This lead him to building companies, charities, projects, cultures, and communities. He likes to push boundaries on what he and others think can be done and he’s [thankfully] come to realize just how short life is.

He’s a designer – carefully planning the form, look and workings of a life he’s passionate about living – and an author – writing the story of his life as he sees fit, and sharing excerpts and glimpses along the way. He loves adventures, surfing, long car rides, movement, yoga, health & fitness and anything that makes me feel alive.

While his goal may not be to live forever, it is to create things that will.
