Mapping the Global Dimensions of Policy 6
Mon, 6 Feb 2017, 12:45 PM – Tue, 7 Feb 2017, 5:15 PM EST
Drawing upon McMaster’s expertise in the field of international and comparative public policy, the conference theme focuses on the global dimension of policy and aims to bridge the gap between international relations and public policy by investigating how “the global,” including institutions, actors, structures, and ideas intersects with regional, national, and local jurisdictions to create particular policies and outcomes.
Presenters will be Masters and PhD students, but all are welcome to attend. The conference provides presenters and attendees with the ideal setting to foster networks with fellow students and faculty in their area of research. The conference will also include a professional development workshop designed specifically for graduate students, but which will be of general interest to all in the social sciences and humanities.
The conference takes places at the McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC), CIBC Hall (2nd floor).
