Larry Roy fait depuis longtemps partie intégrante de la scène musicale de Winnipeg. Il est le premier guitariste de jazz de la ville, il est un ingénieur du son très occupé avec son propre studio, et après avoir terminé sa maîtrise en musique à l'université du Manitoba, il a officiellement rejoint la faculté du programme d'études de jazz de l'université du Manitoba. M. Roy est un arrangeur et un compositeur recherché et a été le directeur musical de plus de 150 épisodes radio et télévision en direct ou préenregistrés. Larry s'est beaucoup produit dans des clubs, des sessions, des concerts, des ateliers et des classes de maître. En 2014, il a été nominé aux Juno pour le meilleur album de jazz vocal, avec Erin Propp pour leur enregistrement Courage My Love.

Larry Roy has long been a fixture of the Winnipeg music scene. He is the first-call jazz guitarist in the city, he's a busy recording engineer with his own studio, and after completing his Master's Degree in Music at The University of Manitoba, he has formally joined the faculty of the Jazz Studies program at the University of Manitoba. Mr. Roy is a sought after arranger and composer and has been the musical director for over 150 live or pre-recorded radio and television episodes. Larry has performed extensively in clubs, sessions, concerts, workshops and master classes. In 2014, he was a Juno Nominee for Best Jazz Vocal Album, along with Erin Propp for their recording Courage My Love.
