Description

In this course, attendees will be exposed to the building blocks of marketing for a start-up organization. Individuals will be introduced to a variety of frameworks that support the marketing planning process, including Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats analysis and the positioning map. Attendees will additionally self-reflect on their personal strengths and weaknesses and examine the potential impact of these strengths and weaknesses on the business. Over the two-hour course, you will begin to develop a marketing plan for their business, and share it with other attendees.

Part of the course will expose attendees to successful start-up case studies and ask them to identify how (and if) the success factors should be leveraged in their own start-up. People will leave the course with a list of resources to continue their marketing journey, including support resources from Kingston EcDev.
