Event description
This stimulating workshop, for creatives in the arts, shares realistic marketing strategies to help build and promote a creative business.

About this Event

Marketing is one of the most hated and least understood aspects of running a creative business and being an arts entrepreneur. However, figuring out how to sell creative products and services doesn’t have to be painful. This engaging and down-to-earth workshop unravels the mystery behind the magic of marketing and delves deep into a practical strategy that can be easily understood and applied to a wide range of creative practices and arts activities.

Key elements explored in this workshop include:

• the seven steps to creating a successful marketing strategy;

• learning how to understand your clients, customers and competitors;

• getting to the heart of those misleading marketing myths - luck and word of mouth;

• an overview of websites, social media, networking and more;

• how to know if your marketing strategy is ‘working’.

This workshop will be relaxed and informal. You can ask all the questions you have never been able to ask before and will have ample opportunity to network and get to know each other.
