Welcome back to the Markham Museum! We’ve missed you.
Markham Museum’s grounds are open for various activities this spring. Explore the 25-acre historic property for only $5 plus HST. Pre-booking is encouraged.
Three fun family-friendly activities available. Do one, two, or all of them - it’s up to you!
Self-guided Tour:
Take in the sights of the Markham Museum’s beautiful 25-acre property. Unlock the stories behind the historic structures by scanning a QR code using your mobile phone.
Scavenger Hunt:
Looking for a fun challenge to complete while you explore the museum grounds? Our scavenger hunt will keep you on your toes, as you try to solve all 18 questions like a stealthy detective!
Geocaching Adventure:
Embark on a touchless geocaching adventure that will take you across our museum grounds by following a series of GPS coordinates, testing your nature knowledge as you solve the puzzle of the secret code word.
*Please note that at this time the interior of buildings and the exhibition galleries are not accessible, in accordance with our COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Unfortunately, dogs are currently not permitted on site.
Hours of operation
• Wednesday to Sunday: 11 AM to 5 PM
Admission
• $5 per person plus HST
• Last admission at 3 PM
• Admission includes both activities listed above
• All visitors are asked to limit their enjoyment of the grounds to two hours.

The outdoor skating rink located on the Markham Museum grounds is closed for the season.
