CEO of one of Toronto’s Premier Personal Training companies, Igor Klibanov is the author of 5 books on exercise and nutrition and has won multiple young entrepreneur awards. He utilizes unique marketing tactics like book publishing and public speaking to gain more exposure for his business.

Loretta Lam is the President of Focus Communications, a full service marketing and PR firm. She has over 25 years of international experience in strategic marketing and public relations. She as a former consultant at Hill & Knowlton Canada and Ogilvy Asia. Specializing in corporate communications, public relations, event management, multicultural marketing, cultural and media training.

Audrey Jamieson is a 20 year veteran in the direct marketing industry. She loves to develop and maintain exceptional client relationships by offering fresh ideas, outstanding customer service and problem solving solutions. Having previously worked at The FSA Group, Audrey saw firsthand how small to medium sized businesses can service clients efficiently and react quickly to continuous market changes.

A panel discussion on various options for financing including private and public funding and development banks.

Panelists:

Courtney Cole is the founder & CEO of ForaHealthyMe Inc., a virtual care solutions provider. ForaHealthyMe develops and deploys software applications that enable hospitals and physicians to deliver health services to their patients in the areas of in the areas of Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Cognitive and Cardiac Care.

Angelo Del Duca has extensive experience in the electronics industry, is an active Angel Investor and member of the York Angel Investors assessing potential investments and mentoring companies seeking investment. Previously he was an Ontario Director at the NRC IRAP Program.

Bhyran Sathyananthan has been an Account Manager at the BDC for the past three years. He specializes in working with small and medium sized businesses to reach their goals through financing and advisory services. Bhyran has experience working with a wealth of different industries, understands the fundamentals needed for businesses to succeed and recognizes the importance of financing for growth.

11:45am-12:30pm- Digital Marketing Best Practices Panel Discussion

This panel will guide you through what digital transformation means along with the ins and outs of using social media and digital marketing to help transform your business. Be ready to listen for immediate tips and takeaways to apply to your business!

Special Guest Moderator: Scott Berty is a passionate learner and traveller with a diploma in business marketing and an international degree. His main priority is working as the Chief Growth Officer for Trufan, a venture backed Canadian tech start-up he helped found. He's also on the board of advisors for Quarter4, an Ai start-up creating predictive outcomes for sports and does marketing consulting with a focus on digital and social media strategy.

Panelists:

Stephan Orlob is the Managing Director of BizMetrics. He draws on 25 years of senior marketing experience with companies such as Sony and FujiFilm. He will provide innovative and cost-effective strategies using content and digital media, focusing on the LinkedIn platform.

Liza Shu is the Manager of Digital Performance for IBM. She is a marketing professional with over 16 years of experience. Liza will focus on the who, what, when and how that goes into marketing strategy digging into data to guide web, SEO, paid media and social media strategies

Kim O’Keefe is the Director of Digital and Emerging Media Sales for Rogers Media, she has many years’ experience driving results for local and national advertisers by engaging consumers through digital channels, enabled by data and strategic targeting. She will discuss the use of video content and other emerging media in digital marketing that can help your business succeed.
