Marsh Monitoring Program Training Workshop
Event Information
Description
Bird Studies Canada (BSC), in partnership with Environment Canada, the City of Windsor and the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA), are looking for wetland enthusiasts willing to adopt a local marsh and spend about 10 hours per year as a volunteer surveyor of aquatic birds and amphibians. The MMP offers everyone - from amateur naturalists to professional biologists - a unique and rewarding opportunity to help learn about and conserve Great Lakes amphibians and marsh birds, and their threatened habitats.
Come join us and learn about wetland conservation initiatives in your watershed and the Marsh Monitoring Program and Protocol!
For more information, please contact Gina, ERCA's Partnerships and Outreach Coordinator at 519-776-5209 ext. 245.
