SQUARE CIRCLE

Who We Are

Founded in 2013, Square Circle teaches Social Circus and other creative arts with the goal of empowering youth to become directors of their own lives. Based in Regent Park, Square Circle focuses on youth ages 9 to 14 in underserved neighbourhoods.

Using the tradition of Social Circus, our programs aim to develop communication, interpersonal, artistic, and physical skills in a safe, collaborative and fun environment. We use unique and innovative ways to educate and foster confidence. Through this dynamic approach of arts based education, our programs embody teamwork, creativity and play in a non- competitive, non-judgemental, safe environment.

Our programs and events teach a mixed variety of activities including juggling, poi, hula-hoop, aerial techniques, clowning, pyramids, dance, acting/improvisation and photography.

We offer free:

● in-school programs

● after-school programs

● sessions during March Break and the summer months

● Interactive Open House

The cost of our programs and events are covered solely through charitable donations, in-kind contributions, sponsorships and grants.
