Description

Please note this course takes place every Wednesday for four weeks. We will meet live and online in real time (via Zoom online platform) . Participants should attend all four sessions.

Dates: January 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th

Series 2 is intended to provide an opportunity for professionals in people-helping professions to be able to craft appropriate therapeutic interventions within​​ ​a trauma-informed context. Participants will be expected to contribute in real time from their own practice experience, and to complete assignments between live, interactive sessions. While geared toward mental health professionals, this course is relevant to any professional in a complementary, medical, or​ paramedical profession.

​Assessing for trauma; Trauma-informed approaches; Application of trauma-informed care​; Case studies.

Attendees will receive certificates of completion for 6 hours of professional development and 2 hours of clinical supervision.
