About this event

The Masterclass

Automation is a fast moving phenomenon that has entered the mobility arena. Artificial intelligence is a “technological tsunami” (Elliott 2018) that transforms modern lives, communication, intimacy, production, design, and not at last: mobilities deeply and unavoidably.

This masterclass, co-organized by Erasmus+ EU Research Network CCAMEU and HfWU, focuses on current research and specifically PhD work.

PhD students working on automated mobilities will present their ongoing research. There will be keynotes by Dr. Weert Canzler (WZB, Berlin) and Dr. Jack Stilgoe (UCL, London) on the social implications and consequences of the transformations.

The event is open for everyone.

Important: The event will take place via MS Teams. You will receive an email with the link to the online event before the event starts. You do not need to have a Microsoft account and can simply participate via your web browser. However, for active participation you will also need a microphone and ideally a webcam.
