Join editor and writer Kim Pittaway as she takes you through essential magazine feature structures, and offers tips on determining structure at the assignment stage--while remaining open to where the story takes you.

Kim Pittaway is a magazine editor, writer and educator. She is the former editor-in-chief and managing editor of Chatelaine, and former president of the National Magazine Awards. Her current work includes teaching magazine journalism and nonfiction writing at the University of King's College in Halifax, leading Magazines Canada's webinar series, and communication consulting. Kim received the 2016 National Magazine Awards Foundation Outstanding Achievement Award.
