The purpose of the clubs is to allow students to explore and expand their knowledge of math using different techniques taught by instructors. The skills students learn can be applied in the regular classroom and various contests. The Math Kangaroo Clubs provide an inclusive environment for the students.
The levels 1-8 correspond to the school grade student(s) are currently in for the 2016-2017 year. Students in grades 1 to 9 may enroll.
This registration covers only the five fall sessions. Registration for the winter sessions will start later.
Cost of the fall sessions
$75 per club registration (five classes in fall 2016); there are also processing fees charged by eventbrite.com
Bursary and Discount
- We offer limited number of bursaries (fee reduction or waiver) to those who experience financial difficulty.
- If you are registering your child(ren) in more than one class, please fill out the form below for obtaining a discount (20% per class).
- Employees, students and alumni of Concordia University of Edmonton and MacEwan University are eligible for a discount (20% per class).
If you are applying for bursary or discount, the Bursary/Discount Application Form must be filled out prior to registration. You should wait for our approval. If you pay, we will not consider your application. Bursary applications will be considered near closing the registration because we have to review all submissions.

Clubs run on the following Saturdays: October 1, 22; November 5, 19; December 3, 2016.
Level 1, 5, 7
Arrival: 2:00pm - 2:10pm
Instruction: 2:10pm - 3:20pm including five-minute break
Pick-up: 3:20pm - 3:30pm
Level 2, 3-4, 6, 8
Arrival: 3:30pm - 3:40pm
Instruction: 3:40pm - 4:50pm including five-minute break
Pick-up: 4:50pm - 5:00pm

Is there an age limit to enter the event?
The participants must be at least 6 years old.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
Parking at Concordia is $3 per day on weekends.
What should I bring to the event?
Pen, pencil, water.

Is my registration transferrable?
Please email the organizers if you want to transfer the registration or change the level.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, until September 25, 2016.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, if you registered before September 30 - we will have your name and registration information. Yes, if you registered after September 30.
What is the refund policy?
The information is in the registration form.
The name on the registration doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, we will need the name of the student participating in the clubs.
