MAY 29 - 31, 2023 CACOLE Conference

The Canadian Association for the Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (CACOLE) 2023 Annual Professional Development Conference will occur May 29 – 31, 2023 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This conference brings together police oversight professionals from across Canada, with the common goal of improving policing.

The 2023 conference agenda will consist of topics of interest to police oversight professionals, law enforcement officials, government officials and students. Participants will again have the option of attending virtually or in person. All presentations will be recorded and will be available to attendees at the conclusion of the conference.

This year’s conference will include an evening reception, breakfast and lunch each day and a delegate’s dinner on the final evening. Additional conference information, including a link for registration, hotel information and a draft program, will be available on our website, www.cacole.ca, over the next few months.

Our conference location, Halifax, Nova Scotia has a great deal to offer. Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia has a rich history and is famed for its massive natural port, museums, beautiful downtown harbour boardwalk and many restaurants and local breweries.

L'Association canadienne de surveillance civile du maintien de l'ordre (ACSCMO) tiendra

sa conférence annuelle sur le perfectionnement professionnel du 29 au 31 mai 2023 à Halifax, en Nouvelle-Écosse. Cette conférence réunit des professionnels de la surveillance de la police de partout au Canada, dans le but commun d’améliorer les services de police.

La conférence 2023 portera sur des sujets qui intéresseront les professionnels de la surveillance de la police, les responsables de l’application de la loi, les représentants du gouvernement et les étudiants. Les participants pourront une fois de plus assister à la conférence en personne ou en ligne. Toutes les présentations seront enregistrées et seront offertes aux participants à la fin de la conférence.

Cette année, la conférence comprendra une réception en soirée, un déjeuner et un dîner chaque jour, ainsi qu’un souper des délégués la dernière soirée. De plus amples renseignements sur la conférence, y compris un lien pour s’y inscrire, de l’information sur les hôtels et une version préliminaire du programme, seront ajoutés à notre site Web, à l’adresse www.cacole.ca, au cours des prochains mois.

Halifax, la ville où se tiendra la conférence, a beaucoup de belles choses à offrir. Capitale de la Nouvelle-Écosse, elle possède une riche histoire et est bien connue pour son immense port naturel, ses musées, sa magnifique promenade en bois, au centre-ville, qui longe l’eau et ses nombreux restaurants et micro-brasseries locales.

CANCELLATIONS + SUBSTITUTIONS

REFUND POLICY: In person conference fees paid, less a $75 administrative fee will be refunded with a request in writing prior to April 20, 2023. Virtual ticket fees and Eventbrite processing fees will not be refunded. After April 20, 2023 no refunds will be issued.

SUBSTITUTIONS: Substitutions can be made up to May 22, 2023
