Mayors Luncheon 2017
Thu, 4 May 2017, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM MDT
Each year, Gateway Association hosts a Mayors Luncheon in partnership with mayors, politicians, and Alberta’s forward-thinking business leaders. The luncheon each May serves as a connecting place for those in the business community who support diversity in hiring.
The theme for #MayorsLunch2017 is Navigating Complex Relationships in Business.
This year we’re excited to celebrate the City of Edmonton’s leadership in this area with its pioneering Abilities@Work program, along with a major business leader in the community (to be announced) who will share the ins and outs of how to build diversity into a strong business model.
Last year we welcomed 200 mayors and business leaders from across the province: Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson; St. Albert Mayor Nolan Crouse, the mayor who started our yearly Mayors Luncheon with us in 2012; Strathcona County Mayor Roxanne Carr; Mayor Mike Bradley from Sarnia, Ont.; Grande Prairie Mayor Bill Given; Leduc Mayor Greg Krischke; Stony Plain Mayor William Choy; Devon Mayor Stephen Lindop; Wetaskiwin Mayor Bill Elliot; and Westlock Mayor Ralph Leriger.
We hope to see more familiar faces at #MayorsLunch2017!
