The 5th annual Mayors’ Megawatt Challenge Forum is coming up on November 9th, bringing together municipal facility directors, supervisors, energy managers, operators, industry representatives, and government and utility company representatives from Ontario and across Canada to focus on saving energy through operational and retrofit projects at municipal facilities.
This year’s forum will focus on high performance community centres, with municipalities sharing their best practices used to achieve excellent energy performance. We will be tracking down and reporting on top-performing facilities, educating members on the actual performance, savings potential and energy conservation actions for their facilities, and reporting on top-energy-savings facilities for 2015-16.
The MMC Forum provides a unique setting to connect with many municipalities considering real energy projects, and we invite you to consider exhibiting.
Some of our exhibitors will be invited to participate on one of our technical panels, which will focus on case studies of high performing community centres or those that have greatly improved performance recently. If you have worked with a community centre (with an ice rink and/or pool facility) and would like to co-present a case study, please let us know!
The Forum will run from 8:30amto 4:00pm, and will be held at Black Creek Pioneer Village, 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto, Ontario. MAP
