Hello MBFoodfest 2020,
With careful consideration, we have decided to officially cancel this year’s installment of MBFood Fest. With the current number of COVID-19 cases in Manitoba, we feel that continuing with the event would put people at risk. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we feel it is best to put the health and safety of our guests and local makers first.
Refunds will be issued in the next couple of days.
We remain committed to improving MBFood Fest, supporting the producers of Manitoba and our community. The feedback from last year was heard and we were looking forward to implementing many enhancements to this year’s event. We intend to implement them at the next MBFood Fest on June 27, 2021 or on our back up date of September 19, 2021 if the pandemic still affects gathering sizes..
We thank you for your support, patience and understanding during these unprecedented times. We appreciate you taking the time to support local and encourage you to continue to do so now more than ever.

MB Food Fest 2020
Bringing together Manitoba’s favorite local food and beverages at MB Food Fest! There will be sampling as well as the ability to buy directly from our vendors, sample food during our Chef competition and Poutine Bar in the Great Hall.
Sample food, wine and craft beer from 40+ local vendors at this fantastic local food event, Sunday, September 27th (Originally June 21) from 2:00-6:00 pm at the historical Fort Gibraltar for an afternoon of sampling and festivities! The Beer, Wine and Food sampling is included in your ticket price. It is also a market where you can buy products directly from the vendors. Sample food from 4 of Manitoba's top up and coming chefs.
Supporting our local small businesses and makers is what this event is founded on and we're excited to showcase our Manitoba food or beverage developers. Connect directly with the producers and support our local makers.

Part of proceeds of the event will go to programming and supporting revitalization of Fort Gibraltar. Throw some hatchets or leg wrestle for a good cause while enjoying a great day at Fort Gibraltar.
