Event description

Description

It’s that time of year again! The McGill Students’ Chapter of Jack.org’s fourth Regional Summit is coming up quickly, so get your free tickets while you can! This year the event will be held from 12-4:30 p.m. in the Carrefour Sherbrooke ballroom on February 23rd.

The day will feature powerful speakers, an educational panel, and hands-on workshops. Themes will include the ways you can positively support a loved one while ensuring your own wellbeing, using social media for mental health advocacy, and the changing mental health culture both in Montreal and nation-wide. There will also be lunch (with a vegan option), snacks, and refreshments!

Support will be provided for anyone who finds the subject matter difficult. The Shag Shop will also be tabling to promote the importance of sexual health to one’s mental health, and Stronger Than Stigma will be tabling as well.

While this event is designed for university and CEGEP students, if you are a non-student who would like to attend, please email us at mscjackdotorg@gmail.com to see how you can participate.
