Description

Join us for the Cronkite Memorial Lecture in Public Law, presented as part of the college's McKercher Lecture Series. Senior member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and founding chairman of the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA), Dick Pound, CC,OQ, QC will be speaking on Creating a Parallel Legal Universe: The Fight against Doping in Sport. The lecture will be followed by a Q and A session moderated by University of Saskatchewan President Peter Stoicheff.

Dick Pound is a lawyer, the longest-serving member and former vice-president of the IOC, and founder of the WADA. He has been recognized time and again for his work, including being named to Time Magazine's 100 most influential people in the world for his continued efforts to rid sport of performance-enhancing drugs.
