McMaster’s Barrier Free Design Standard will be developed in collaboration with staff, faculty and student input from across the University of McMaster, and we want to hear from you!
This workshop is one in a series of four, designed to learn about accessibility-related barriers and opportunities for McMaster University as it begins drafting the standards.
The four workshops have been themed to focus the conversation; however, we would appreciate your attendance at any of the four workshops, even if it is not directly in your domain. The more attendance, the better. The four workshops have been themed in the following way:
- Workshop 1 (May 15th) - Equity and inclusion
- Workshop 2 (May 16th) - Technology
- Workshop 3 (May 23rd) - Navigation, access and wayfinding
- Workshop 4 (May 24th) - Facilities, maintenance and retrofitting
The workshop will be held virtually via Zoom and will consist of discussions and interactive exercises to understand the current state of accessibility at McMaster. We look forward to your attendance at one of the four workshops.
