This special session is offered free of charge to conference delegates and others. Registration is independent of the EMC conference.
McMaster University - in Hamilton Ontario – has programs and facilities providing notable impetus to the development of electric mobility in Canada.
McMaster’s Institute for Transportation Logistics (MITL) is currently carrying out a unique study on the Social Costs and Benefits of Electric Mobility in Canada. This 9 module study examines the views of consumers and fleet managers, including public transit, towards the adoption of EVs. It also examines the economic, environmental and societal costs and benefits of EVs adoption scenarios. Completed research and progress reports of the study will be presented.
McMaster’s Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) is one of North America’s largest automotive research facilities focused on electric mobility. An overview of the facilities and current projects will be presented.
