Guest Lecturers: Julian Lombardi & Samuel Khzym
This Month's Topic: McMaster University is proud to be one of 13 North American universities participating in the EcoCAR EV Challenge, North America’s premier collegiate automotive engineering competition.
This four-year competition challenges teams to apply advanced propulsion systems, automation, and vehicle connectivity technologies to the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ—all while balancing energy efficiency, decarbonization, and customer-centric design.
Through providing students with interactive training, industry presentations, and hours of real-world hands-on experience, the McMaster EcoCAR team helps build the next generation of engineers to address the future of mobility.
Post Lecture Activity (12:15pm-1:15pm): Presented By Mathstronauts
In keeping with the automotive theme of the lecture, post-lecture activity participants will learn how to code to create a fun car-themed game on Scratch with Mathstronauts!
