Description

Explore the medicinal and edible plants of the Pacific Northwest with Herbalist & Holistic Nutritionist Bronwen Erickson! Learn how to identify, ethically harvest, and integrate these local plants, growing right here in the city, into your daily life!
**We will not be harvesting on this walk. Rather learning and discussing proper harvesting procedures.

You will be emailed a detailed handout of the plants we cover during the walk!

Located on the unceded Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, with permissions.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
If you are on transit, the #84 stops at Alma & 4th ave. You can walk west form there. You will see Jericho Park on your right. Walk straight for the water and we will be meeting near the concession stand. Remember this is the far EAST side of Jericho Park! The concession is right beside Brockhouse.
**If you are near Jerciho Sailing club, you are in the wrong place :) (sometimes google sends people there)
If you are driving, there is a parking lot off of point grey rd. The address is 3941 Point Grey Road, Vancouver, BC V6R 4L9

What can I bring into the event?
Please wear appropriate clothing as this is a rain or shine event :)
Water, or tea if its cold!
Feel free to bring a pen and paper for notes.
A camera or your phone for pictures of the plants we talk about.
