About this event
Online and Onsite Meditation Class - Change Your Thoughts, Change Your World
Sunday 16 January, 2:30 - 4pm
online and onsite
with Kadampa Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Kunden
Developing compassion and wisdom, and helping those in need whenever possible, is the true meaning of life.
~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso — from Mirror of Dharma with Additions
What is the nature of our daily problems? How can we learn to relate to problems in a constructive and meaningful way. If we can learn to relate to our sufferings in a different way, we will be able to develop the strength of mind to deal with anything that comes along. This series of classes will investigate Buddha’s teachings on the nature of suffering and how we can overcome suffering with wisdom. By transforming our thoughts about suffering and problems through daily meditation training, we can take control of the situation and develop and maintain a peaceful mind, free from problems.
Join Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Kunden for classes for Sunday meditations in January with meditations that will change your thoughts and your world. Everyone welcome.
You are also welcome to join us for this class on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
Classes are all standalone individual classes that are presented in a series. You do not need to attend the full series to drop into a class. These classes are suitable for all backgrounds and all experiences. Everyone welcome.
You are also welcome to join us onsite when allowed. Please text 226.486.2417 to reserve your onsite seat. Onsite attendees are welcome to pay at the door.
