Every single one of us have experienced difficult situations in our lives. At times we get caught up in it, draining us of our energy and leading us into anxiety and depression. Nearly 50 percent of major depression disorders goes untreated. Neither at school nor at home are we taught how to our handle negative emotions. We teach dental hygiene but forget to teach mental hygiene. Stress does not go away by just talking or advising. We need to learn about what causes stress and techniques to calm the mind.
Meditation and breathing techniques are very effective tools to get rid of stress and pull oneself out of depression. It helps oneself to cleanse the mind of negative emotions and effectively address mental illness and depression.
This session will introduce you to the Happiness program (offered by the Art of Living) that teaches people how to use breath as a tool to sustaining happiness.
