This event is intended to help families find a support worker for their child or young adult with a disability and for support workers to meet families to work with.

Participants will include:

• Support workers looking for families

• Families looking for support workers

• Community allies

This month, we are hosting a short information session for families by Cate Shipley, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. Cate. She will speak about and provide information on:

• Who can benefit from/contribute to a Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)

• How to become eligible, open and manage your or your child's RDSP

• Maintaining eligibility to government funded disability benefits

• Contribution limits and eligibility for government grants and bonds
