With her effortless blend of smart folk and pop, Saskatoon born/Toronto based singer-songwriter Melanie Peterson is fresh off the heels of a successful performance at the Sound Of Music Festival in Burington, where she opened for The Pursuit of Happiness. Awarded the outstanding achievement in song writing award, from The Great American Song writing Competition, Melanie has also played some of Toronto's most coveted music festivals including NXNE, Canadian Music Week and Winterfolk.
