A gorgeous tea salon, The Urban Tea Merchant is at the forefront of Tea Gastronomy in Vancouver. Join us for a delectable four-course feast, including tea pairings with each course guided by a certified Tea Sommelier.

Open to Indian Summer Arts Society members, patrons and artist alumni, the Indian Summer Supper Club curates exciting dinner gatherings four times per year. Tickets to this members-only event are $75 (including tax and tip). Details on becoming a member are here.
The Urban Tea Merchant Menu:
Welcome Drink: “Singapore Breakfast Tea” Mocktail
1st Course: “Imperial Keemun” encrusted Tuna Tataki, Wasabi Aioli, Yuzu Gel, Ponzu, Dried Mandarin Segments. Or Vegetarian Option: Vegetarian nicoise, haricot vert french beans, salt roasted potatoes, beldi and kalamata olives, soft poached quail egg with a chickpea vinaigrette. Paired with 1837 Black Tea
2nd Course: Roma Tomatoes, Smoked Bocconcini, Dehydrated Olives, Balsamic Pearls, Basil Aioli, “Sencha China” Salt. Paired with Sencha Meicha
3rd Course: Miso Maple Sablefish, Tri-Color Quinoa, Scallions, Dehydrated Tomato. Or Vegetarian Option: Roasted red and yellow beet risotto with a fennel and orange micro salad, finished with a grapefruit white balsamic. “1837 Green Tea Oil” Paired with Milk Oolong
4th Course: “Chocolate Mint Truffle Tea” Creme Brûlée, Caramelized Banana and Dried Raspberries Paired with Red Balloon Tea

The Urban Tea Merchant’s Tea Sommelier, Reza Nasooti, will offer an interactive presentation on each of the teas being paired with the courses, a brief introduction on the history of tea and tea varieties.
