Event description

Description

Let's talk about menopause!

Menopause Café Toronto is the first Menopause Café taking place outside the UK! The objective is to start conversations about menopause.

What is it?

A Menopause Café is an agenda-free discussion about menopause, with the topics for discussion chosen by the people who attend. It is a discussion group rather than a support or counselling session. We usually split into small groups and you are welcome to just listen, although we hope you will join in on discussions.

Menopause should not be taboo, let’s raise awareness, talk about and demystify menopause-Go Canada Go!

It upholds the following principles:

> Inclusive, confidential and respectful – attendees can express their views safely and without judgment

> Informal, participative, and straightforward

Who is it for?

Anybody interested in sharing their stories, experiences and questions about menopause. All genders and all ages. Men and women, old and young, and in between.

Menopause Café Toronto is offered:

On a not-for-profit basis (aside from an investment in a cup of coffee, or tea, or a glass of wine and a snack if you so wish)

Menopause Café is hosted by:

Teresa Isabel Dias, pharmacist, Certified Menopause Practitioner, founder of MenopausED and passionate about breaking the menopause taboo, and raising awareness about menopause. All women will go through menopause, let's demystify it!
