Description

Come celebrate Menstral Hygiene Day at the University of Waterloo! This event is held in partnership with HeforShe and will include the following:

Museum exhibit 11am-3pm feauturing Eden Hennessey's Women in STEM photo-research exhibits #DistractinglySexist and #DistractinglyHonest

Panel discussion 4-6pm will focus on how menstruation effects women's health, economics and social roles. Featuring speakers from SHORE and the Indigenous centre.

Film viewing 7-8:30pm "Menstrual Man" a documentary about an Indian man who created low-cost pads as an alternative to dirty rags that his wife and sisters were previously using.

And free food and refreshments!
