Miwa Yonezawa, a community Occupational Therapist at the Maple Ridge Mental Health and Substance Use Centre, will talk about early signs of escalation, crisis management, and community resources for mental health support.

Miwa has been working in the mental health field for more than 13 years in Canada and overseas. She has worked in various sites in the Lower Mainland with inpatient, outpatient, outreach and assisted living. Overseas, she worked in home care and community primary care.

For youth ages 18-30 who have disabilities, caregivers and service providers. Part of a series of FREE online workshops on the topic of Mental Health, which occur monthly between September 2020 and March 2021.
