Description

The two-day workshop will take place at Childreach on Monday, Oct. 23 and Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 from 9am-5pm in the Classroom (upstairs) and the course facilitator will be Dara McQuarrie, Senior Recreation Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of London who is a registered facilitator for this course through Mental Health First Aid Canada.

This two-day training is offered for those who would like to be Mental Health First Aiders for Adults who interact with youth (for the purpose of this training a youth is considered 12-24 years of age), however this training is beneficial for anyone who would like to gain more knowledge around Mental Health.

The fee is $90 per person (plus $6 Eventbrite service fee) and includes the MHFA workbook. Lunch is not provided. This fee represents a savings as the typical cost of this training is $150 +. A minimum of 10 participants is required for the training to proceed, and the maximum is 24 – register soon!
