2-day certificate workshop to empower individuals to support people in their lives developing or experiencing mental health issues.

About this Event

MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS WILL AFFECT ONE IN FIVE CANADIANS THIS YEAR.

Some mental health problems are more common than many physical health problems. While people often know a lot about physical illness, most people have little knowledge about mental illness. This lack of understanding promotes fear and stigma. It prevents people from seeking help early and seeking the best kind of help. It also keeps people from providing appropriate support to friends, colleagues, family members and people around them simply because they do not know how.Join us for this two day workshop delivered by FSEAP counsellors trained and certified by the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

WE SHOULD ALL HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE FIRST AID!
