Event description

Description

The Mental Health First Aid Basic training is a two-day in-person program that was developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. The training builds awareness about mental health in our workplaces and provides the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health challenges. The program teaches people how to recognize signs and symptoms of declining mental health, provides initial help, and guides a person towards appropriate professional help.

Participants of the course will find it helpful when interacting with colleagues, friends, family members as well as for themselves. Note that there is no cost for this course.

Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register by Wednesday, October 31st to participate in the session.
