The courses requires mandatory attendance on all of the following dates from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m:

Monday November 27th

Wednesday, November 29th

Monday December 5th

Wednesday December 7th

Lunch will be provided.

Mental Health First Aid Training is intended for adults interacting with adults (18 years and older). This course focuses on the four most common mental health disorders: substance-related, mood-related, anxiety and trauma-related, and psychotic disorders.

Participants who take this course will be well-prepared to confidently interact with family, friends, communities, and workplaces about mental health disorders.

Training will be presented by Maria Cetnar, Supervisor of Mental Health Program and Nancy Lewis, Supervisor of Mental Health Flexible Supports Program for York Support Services Network.

Please note that attendance is mandatory on all dates for all participants who register in order to receive the Mental Health First Aid Certification.
