2 Day Workshop:

Wed. September 11th, & Thurs. September 12th, 2018.

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (BOTH DAYS)*

*Trainees must attend both full days of this workshop to obtain certification.

What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid is similar to the impactful and widely-adopted Physical First Aid Courses available worldwide. It is a 12 hour course that focuses on: identification and treatment of mental illness, how to help someone experiencing a mental health problem, resources and next steps.

You will feel more confident about evaluating your own mental health and the mental health of your colleagues, friends and family.

Best suited for - Anyone can benefit from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). It is open to members of the general public. Families affected by mental health problems, teachers, health service providers, emergency workers, frontline workers who deal with the public, volunteers, human resources professionals, employers and community groups are just a few of the groups who have benefited from MHFA.
