Teen (under 18 years old)
ENSO would like to encourage a family event where both parents or caregivers and teens attend. Free tickets are available for Teens (MUST be 13-19 years of age) when adults purchase a ticket for event. Please send an email to melissa@ensosociety.com to request teen seats. If you are a teen who wants to attend but your parent or caregiver is not available that night, please send us a note for a free ticket (written by teen). ENSO aims to never turn any person away for lack of funds. Please reach out for support if needed.

Sliding Scale $25-$125
Sliding Fee Scale. Please choose an amount to the best of your ability and GIVE IN THE SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY. All fees paid over 75 dollars will receive a registered tax receipt. Proceeds go to support ENSO Teen Wilderness Expeditions. ENSO Society is a registered Canadian Charity. Each donation provides one parent entry.

Event Details

ENSO Society is pleased to welcome 

Dr. Dzung Vo to Kelowna.


Dr. Vo is an Adolescent Pediatrician, BC Children's Hospital, UBC, Founder of Mindfulness for Teens and author of The Mindful Teen.

5:00 to 6:30 pm  Pre-Social

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to Dr. Vo, enjoy food and explore a community marketplace.   The Mindful Teen will be available for purchase. 

6:30 to 8:30 pm

Dr. Vo will speak about mental wellness and resilience with a focus on teens and families.  Following his talk, Bill Eager will lead Dr. Vo and a panel of local teens in an open interactive discussion exploring mental wellness from a teen's perspective.  We really want to hear from teens in our community!

 

*This venue is not wheelchair friendly, therefore we would like to ask people to contact ENSO Society at melissa@ensosociety.com if they do require wheelchair access to ensure we will be prepared to accommodate the needs of everyone attending.
*Tickets: Teens are able to attend for free with an adult. ENSO Society is a Canadian registered charity. Ticket donations of $75 or more are eligible to receive a tax receipt.
