Join MENTOR Canada and Deloitte for a virtual career mentoring event called Focused Connections as part of the Indigenous Power of Mentoring Campaign across Canada.
On June 16th from 3:00 – 4:30 pm MT / 5:00 – 6:30 pm ET, Indigenous young leaders will engage Deloitte leaders in a fireside chat focused on their journey to employment and career success. Following the chat, we will engage in small group discussions where Deloitte employee volunteers will share additional career experiences and insights on how to prepare for and navigate a job search and succeed once hired. There will be plenty of time to ask questions in the large and small group settings. MENTOR Canada will provide career mentoring resources in advance to support everyone in this experience.
Indigenous Power of Mentoring seeks to support In Indigenous Young Leaders as a whole, through an event that integrates all aspects of the Medicine Wheel – spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical. Talking Rocks will be sent out to all confirmed participants to be used during the small group discussions.
