Event description

Description

Meet at the Central Library for a free workshop with Edinburgh based metalsmith, Bryony Knox, who will share her knowledge of working with colourful recycled tin and wire. Learn how to prepare the materials, and cut, form and shape the metal and wire. Make either, a simple Owl Brooch inspired by Edward Lear’s “The Owl & the Pussycat”, or another literary hero. Who will you choose? The Cat in the Hat? Fantastic Mr. Fox?

Booking necessary, 6 spaces per 30-minute workshops: 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm, 2 pm and 2:30 pm. Call 604-331-3662 to register a space.

For Grades 4 – 7, free
