About this event
Join the Ministry of Youth at Métis Nation BC for a live, virtual Métis Harvesting event from 5:30 – 7:00pm Thursday August 6. We’ll learn about the Harvesting Protocols with Métis Elder Earl Henderson, talk about Harvesting and the importance of the Harvester card with MNBC's Natural Resources team, and discuss Medicines under our footsteps with healer and wildcrafter, Rachelle Horvath. This free event is for Métis Youth and community members to connect and learn about their culture while learning new skills and having a chance to virtually meet other Métis youth from across the Province. All Youth are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Trivia and cultural prizes will be given out throughout the event on Zoom chat.
**Registry is required through EventBrite. The Zoom code will be emailed to registered participants 2 days prior**
