About this event
This workshop is ideal for Métis women who are new to entrepreneurship and have operated a business for 1-2 years or Métis women planning to open or purchase a business.
Workshop participants will:
- Increase their knowledge of how to start or grow a business
- Learn about the financing and support available to Métis women in entrepreneurship in Saskatchewan
- Learn how to build resilience and identify opportunities in their business
- Connect with existing and new Métis women entrepreneurs across Saskatchewan
The workshop will be facilitated by Heather Murphy, Partner & Intuitive Brand Designer at Remarkable Branding.
Heather Murphy is a proud member of the Métis Nation and an Intuitive Brand Designer, writer, and entrepreneur. Over the last five years, Heather has worked one on one with hundreds of businesses boasting a track record of 300-380% growth with her most involved clients. She has taught thousands of entrepreneurs and is energized by seeing them apply their knowledge to build their brand authority.
With a background in fine arts and as an educator, Heather turned her attention to content marketing in 2010. After working as a freelancer, then as a content strategist for clients such as Hillberg and Berk, Minard’s Leisure World, and the Dream Development, Heather left the agency world to create results-driven services for small businesses – founding Authentically in 2016.
Her passion for education and brands has recently inspired her to build Remarkable Branding alongside a colleague to provide diversified services and classes for entrepreneurs ready to stand out and be Remarkable.
Heather is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council, and Authentically has recently become certified as a Canadian National Aboriginal Business.
