MHA Skills Lab - Venipuncture *PRE-REQUISITES*

If you have NOT attended any accredited institutional training on the clinical nursing skill of venous access, you will be unable to attend this course. Thank you for your understanding.

The mental health and addictions skills lab will give staff the opportunity to review theoretical concepts of nursing practice through guided demonstration and instruction. The session will allow nurses to engage in hands-on learning in a safe environment through an experienced instructor.

*PRE-REQUISITE LEARNING* As per the Health PEI policy, staff must complete the online learning module for Venipuncture on the Staff Resource Centre. This will be sent out prior to the course date to give attendees time to complete.

This course is only open to RNs and LPNs in Mental Health and Addictions.
