Description

The 2019 mHealth Ecosystems Workshop!

The objective of this workshop is to introduce students to the basics of healthcare and public health ecosystems. The purpose of this workshop is to bridge the knowledge gap students from non-health sciences background may have while making healthcare engineering solutions and to empower them with knowledge, toolkits and checklists which help them innovate better and solve real world problems. The workshop is divided into five sections:

Section 1: The instructor will provide an overview of her past mhealth projects.

Section 2: The instructor will discuss the various health systems based on the mhealth projects.

Section 3: Using a checklist, the instructor will walk through mapping ecosystems for one mhealth project.

Section 4: The students will be mapping ecosystems on their own for one mhealth project.

Section 5: The students will evaluate each other’s ecosystem mapping.
