Founder & CEO, Heliosophy.

Speaker’s Bio:

Paul Fairlie is a consultant, researcher, speaker, and expert in work psychology who helps organizations to identify, develop, and motivate people. He has 20+ years of experience in organizational, market, and opinion research through People Tech Consulting, Right Management, Environics, Shepell-fgi, and his own former company. He is now the Founder and CEO of Heliosophy (www.heliosophy.ca). Paul is a behavioural scientist with a Ph.D. in psychology. He has taught in the School of Human Resource Management at York University, and is currently with the Schulich School of Business at York University. He has several publications in academic journals, and magazines such as HR Magazine, Canadian HR Reporter, HR Professional, and Workforce.com.

Presentation summary:

Research shows that HR is already one of the most impactful functions within organizations. Positive HRM is a way of amplifying the strengths of human resources to achieve optimal functioning and extraordinary performance for employees, organizations, and also the world. In line with evolving models of HR leadership, positive HRM may enable HR to become the touch point for positive change in the
world.
