How to Deal with Change Management in Your Careers

WIL Toronto presents a spotlight series event with guest speaker Michelle Ash, Chair of Global Mining Guidelines and former Chief Innovation Officer at Barrick Gold.

Michelle Ash is an ambitious leader who is a Senior Executive, specializing in strategy development and implementation with key skills in technology transformation, innovation, leadership and cultural change for turnarounds, acquisitions and mergers. She values building relationships with all stakeholders to enable people to achieve outstanding results.

Michelle has more than 20 years of experience in the mining and manufacturing sectors with a focus on business improvement and change management. She began her career as a blasting engineer with Rio Tinto.

Career changes, ranging from relocation, international assignments and organizational structure fluctuations can be very stressful and learning how to overcome these adversities is not easy or simple. At this event, you will get to hear Michelle's story on how she dealt with Change Management throughout her career and continued her journey to be one of the most respected female leaders in the industry.

This will be an interactive discussion forum, where we will be encouraging the audience to participate in asking questions to Michelle. Please send all questions in advance to events.to@womeninleadership.ca.

There will be a networking reception following the discussion.

Special thanks to our sponsor EY for supporting our event.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
