Speaker: John Liu, Staff Corrosion Engineer, Cenovus. His areas of expertise include corrosion/chemical engineering, applied chemistry, and reservoir engineering for enhanced oil recovery. John has a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Regina.

"Intersection of Microbiology and the Oilfield: a general background on petroleum microbiology, monitoring and chemistry development"

Speaker: Victor Keasler, Director of RD&E, Nalco Champion. Vic oversees techical support and innovation projects across a broad range of oilfield applications. He has a BS in Microbiology from Texas A & M and a PhD in Molecular Virology and Microbiology from Baylor College of Medicine.
